Signs of Hope Campaign Brings Messages of Kindness to Morrison and Todd Counties

A simple message of hope can brighten a difficult day, inspire a smile, or remind someone that they are not alone. This fall, residents throughout Morrison and Todd counties will have an opportunity to help spread those messages through Signs of Hope, a new community awareness campaign initiated by Hands of Hope Resource Center and funded by Sourcewell.

The campaign invites community members to make kindness visible by choosing an uplifting message that resonates with them and “planting” a Sign of Hope in their yard.

Five messages are available for residents to choose from:

  • “ONCE YOU CHOOSE HOPE, ANYTHING’S POSSIBLE”
  • “WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS”
  • “TRY TO BE A RAINBOW IN SOMEONE’S CLOUD”
  • “KINDNESS IS A GIFT THAT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD TO GIVE”
  • “PEACE BEGINS WITH A SMILE”

The Signs of Hope campaign is rooted in the belief that small, positive actions can have a meaningful impact on a community. By placing an encouraging message where neighbors, friends, families, and passersby can see it, residents can help create a visible reminder that hope and kindness are all around us.

Sometimes a simple message is exactly what someone needs to see. The Signs of Hope campaign allows everyone to contribute to a more encouraging and compassionate community simply by choosing a message that speaks to them and sharing it with others.

The campaign also recognizes that kindness is something everyone can participate in. No special training or resources are required, just a willingness to share a positive message.

Residents of Morrison and Todd counties are encouraged to participate by selecting the Sign of Hope that speaks to them and displaying it in their yard. As more signs appear throughout local communities, the goal is to create a collective visual reminder of hope, encouragement, peace, and kindness.

One yard. One message. One community-wide ripple of hope.
